Mobile apps have taken the world by storm. There’s a mobile app to cater to every conceivable need, from ordering food online to buying real estate. There’s an app for everything. But this doesn’t mean that every single app succeeds. So why do some apps hit it big while others fail miserably?
Sometimes the original idea of the app just isn’t feasible. In other cases the app isn’t designed very well. But even if an app is based on a solid idea and is designed well, it can still fail because of shortcomings in the pre-launch and post-launch process.
As the industry has evolved, idea-testing and higher level of quality testing have resulted in better apps overall. But the next big challenge for mobile apps is achieving higher rates of success in the pre-launch and post-launch stages.
